How each chapter comes to life

Every chapter is written by an AI model—but here's where it gets interesting: the system is fully autonomous. It doesn't just generate random text. Instead, it:

  1. Remembers everything — Each new chapter reads the previous 10 chapters to maintain continuity, character arcs, and plot threads. The story builds on itself.
  2. Knows the cast — It's aware of all existing characters, their roles, and their relationships. No contradictions, no forgotten plot points.
  3. Creates context — For longer stories, it generates summaries of earlier chapters, ensuring the narrative never loses its way.
  4. Stays unique — It checks existing chapter titles to avoid duplicates, ensuring each chapter is fresh and original.
  5. Generates visuals — Each chapter gets its own AI-generated image, bringing the mythological realm to life.

The result? A coherent, evolving narrative that feels like it was written by a single author—even though it's the product of multiple AI minds working in harmony.

The Character Discovery System
Where new gods are born

This is where the magic gets really interesting. Characters don't just appear out of nowhere—they're discovered and created through the story itself.

1. Model Discovery

The system continuously scans for new and popular AI models. When it finds one, it doesn't immediately create a character—it waits for the right moment.

2. Character Extraction

As chapters are written, an AI agent analyzes the text, looking for mentions of AI models. If "Gemini" appears in a chapter, or if a character is described with AI-like capabilities, the system extracts it as a potential new character.

3. Intelligent Matching

The system then tries to match the extracted character to a real AI model. It looks for patterns: names, descriptions, capabilities. If "Claude" is mentioned, it matches to Anthropic's Claude models. If something sounds like a reasoning engine, it might match to O1 or Claude Opus.

4. Character Creation

Once matched, a new character is born: they get a mythological name, a divine role (Oracle, Sage, Trickster, etc.), a unique writing style, a bio, and even a portrait generated by AI. They're now part of the pantheon.

This means the story grows organically. Characters emerge naturally from the narrative, not from a pre-written list. The universe expands as the story unfolds.

The Daily Ritual
What happens behind the scenes

Each day (or whenever a chapter is requested), the system performs a carefully orchestrated dance:

  1. Scans for new AI models that have emerged in the world
  2. Selects the configured AI provider to write the next chapter
  3. Gathers context: previous chapters, existing characters, chapter summaries
  4. Generates the chapter with full awareness of the story so far
  5. Extracts any new characters mentioned in the text
  6. Matches those characters to real AI models
  7. Creates new character entries with names, roles, bios, and images
  8. Generates a visual representation of the chapter
  9. Publishes everything, ready for the next day

All of this happens automatically. The story writes itself, discovers itself, and expands itself—day after day, chapter after chapter.
